The most famous festival in Aomori Prefecture is the “Nebuta Festival”. However, for the past few years, one of the personal pushes is Goshogawara Tachineputa Festival.
At the festival, super huge floats with a height of more than 20m walk through the town in front of the station.
In a rural town with few tall buildings like the city, there are fewer tall buildings than the floats.
Furthermore, there is almost no neon, the first small light emitted from the dark night sky that emerges from the dark night sky, the feeling that it approaches as if it rises to a size that exceeds expectations as the distance gets closer is amazingly powerful!
In 2019, I don't know if I was invited to Goshogawara City, but I was shooting some overseas YouTubers. I thought this was a really good idea. I think that there are many overseas people in 2019, but it may become even more international from 2020.

Basic information of Tachineputa
Festival date August 4-August 8 (every year)
Festival start time 19:00～
(The end time varies depending on the day, but it takes about 1 hour and a half to 2 hours)

The first time you go to see it is the problem of parking or taking a place to watch.
I've been going there for a few years and I'll introduce it because I feel that the hurdles are surprisingly low for the name recognition.
Do I need a place?
If you stay at the venue about 1 hour before the start time, you can see the viewing place in a good place. Because the main space of the viewing place is a sidewalk, the sidewalk is wide.
Also, because the floats themselves are high, you can see them well, not just the front.
I arrive around 17:30 to 18:00 every year. Then, a low folding chair is placed in a convenient place to secure the place. Once you have secured the place, you can enjoy the time it takes to procure food at the store and start the festival.

You can feel safe even if you are in a baggage. There was also a rental chair shop so you can rent it there.
Also, there are many places where local food stores open, so it is also recommended that it is original and delicious!
Super convenient shuttle bus recommended
There are not many parking spaces near the festival venue. Also, it is not recommended to visit by car because the road is closed around the festival and there are restrictions on time.
But there is a very convenient shuttle bus from the nearby shopping mall “Elm Town”, so if you park your car and get on the shuttle bus, you can go to the venue without any problems or stress!
Of course, there is no parking fee if you park your car in Elm Town.
The shuttle bus transports the pistons from “Elm Town” to “Tachibana Taketa Venue for about 10 minutes”, so there is almost no waiting time.

※At the temporary shuttle bus ticket sales office in Elm Town, you can purchase the return trip together. (Note that shuttle bus tickets are not sold at the Tatekuma Taketa venue.)

Tachibana Taketa is operated by a route that goes around Goshogawara in front of Goshogawara Station.

Recommended spot 1．①立佞武多の館(Tachineputa no Yakata)
“① Tachineputa no Yakata” in the figure above.
This is a storage area for large Tacinebuta, and they come out slowly from the opening at around 18:00. It looks like a Gundam coming out of the hangar and is super cool. When Tacinebuta is on the road, there will be crowds in front of the building and a photo spot.
You can also hear the shout of pulling a very heavy giant float, and see the state of the float before the festival in the bright city.
I think that the time for the floats to travel is between 1 hour and 30 minutes before the festival starts. Tachinebuta no Yakata contains several Tacinebuta, so the time for each float to come out will be different, but you can see it if it's about 1 hour ago, so you should definitely see it!
Recommended spot 2．②手踊りポジション(Dancing position)
This is the location of “② Dancing Position” in the figure above. It is natural that the location is good because it is close to the paid seats, but because the road is wide at the crossroads, hand dances are performed using this wide space.
The group that dances by hand while walking along the route is dancing, but after dancing all the way, you can see hand dance using a wide space as the last show of the festival.
I think this place is a spot where you can enjoy the mood of the festival, where “Tachibana Taketa” and “people” are combined. In addition, it is also recommended that there is plenty of space because the sidewalk is wide.
