Aomori Prefecture has a beautiful mountain called “Mt.Iwaki” That is loved by locals.
This mountain has long been loved by locals as a symbol of faith.
Mt. Iwaki can climb up to the summit.
There are 5 major routes. The recommended route that I actually climbed this time is the climbing route after going up to the 8th station on the Iwakiyama Skyline!

Although it is not a very high mountain, it is 1625m, so if you climb from the base, it will take a lot of time.

If you are a hobbyist, it may be unsatisfactory from the 8th station, but I think it's just the right level for ordinary people and children with lack of exercise like me to experience the pain that is reasonable.
After all, mountain climbing has a sense of accomplishment if you taste the gentle pain of "Is the top still?"
By the way, it took less than two hours for me and my first grader daughter to climb to the summit from the 8th station.
By the way, some of my acquaintances can go back and forth in 45 minutes from the 8th station, so it changes depending on the situation of daily exercise.

Iwaki Skyline is the first toll road in Aomori Prefecture opened in 1965 (total length 9.8km), so why not get drunk while driving anyway? ! There are 69 meandering curves, and you can drive to the 8th station on Mt. Iwaki.
As the altitude rises, the scenery from the car window feels like looking at the flat ground from above the clouds, and if you are blessed with the weather, you can see far away in Hokkaido!
There is a parking lot, a resting place, and a lift platform at the 8th stop of Iwaki Skyline. From here, you can go to the 9th station by lift.
It was the weather that there was no last minute rain, so the fog is amazing. And under the eyes of the sea of clouds, there will be such a day.
Climb from the 8th station
Even though it is a mountain for amateurs, you should not wear sandals or leather shoes because your feet are bad. In fact, a person like a suit climbed a mountain on this day. You really should stop it!

From the 8th station to the 9th station, climb the space like a beast path in the jungle. It was a foot made of soil and bare rock.
Enjoy flowers and nature
Is it a wild grass or a flower that normally blooms on the flat ground? I don't know at all because I don't know much about it, but when I meet a flower that blooms in the middle of climbing, it really heals me.
I was able to meet these flowers and moss in mid-August!
When you reach the 9th station, there will be no dense forest and the trees will be shorter. A big rock rolls around and changes the atmosphere.
Take a break to the top! By the way, I'm pretty tired at this point!

It is a rock from before the summit to the summit. A long time ago, you can imagine the mountain erupting.
Wouldn't it fall if you stepped on the slope suddenly? I was so nervous that I forgot to take a photo.

After eating the lunch that I bought on the way and having a break, we immediately got ready for Shimoyama.
Because I'm tired, I use a lift when going down
I started climbing at about 10am and went to the top of the mountain at noon. Immediately after having lunch, I started going down the mountain.
On the way back, I will go down the mountain with a lift that I can ride from the 9th station. Because I was tired.
I climbed so hard, but the return was a lift in no time. But the view from the lift is pretty good. (It is the best when it is sunny)
